PURPOSE:To generate electricity both automatically and manually and to simplify structure by providing independently a generating set which generates electricity automatically by utilizing the weight of an arm and gravitational force and a generating set which generates electricity by operating an external operation member. CONSTITUTION:A rotary weight 2 is incorporated in a watch movement 1 and when the whole system moves, the gravitational force is utilized to rotate this rotary weight 2, obtaining its turning force. This turning force is transmitted to a magnet rotor 6 and electric power is obtained from a coil 8 wound around a stator 7. Further, a magnet rotor 14 is provided independently of them and a turning force applied manually from a winding stem 9 is transmitted to obtain electric power from a coil 16 wound around a stator 5 independently. Consequently, electric power is generated both automatically and manually and the generating sets are independent of each other, so that structure of the generating sets is simplified.
