Device for laser surface processing of a cylindrical bore (10) of a component comprises a powder feed, a laser producing a laser beam (14) and a deviating lens (12) for guiding the beam into the bore. A powder container (32) and a powder dosing device (26, 28) are arranged on one end of the lens which protrudes from the bore. The dosing device has two separate powder lines (30) leading to the powder container. An independent claim is also included for a process for laser surface processing of a cylindrical bore. Preferred Features: A base (34) of the powder container protrudes into a powder removal pipe (42) which has an opening (44) for inserting powder into the laser beam.
