PURPOSE:To prevent the interference in automatic/manual speed change by interrupting the automatic speed change operation when a shift lever is manually changed over to a neutral position, and holding the lever for a prescribed time when manual operation is carried out during a standby time after a target position has been determined. CONSTITUTION:A position detecting means d of a shaft lever b, a neutral position discriminating means e and a target position determining means of are provided. A timer means g which stands by for a prescribed time in response to the output of the target position determining means f, a manual intervention discriminating means h and a comparison means i which compares a target position with the present position are provided. A signal is output to an actuator c so as to shift the shift lever b in response to the nonconformity output of the comparison means i, and the neutral position discriminating means e is reoperated. Thus, the interfering action between automatic speed change operation and manual speed change operation can be removed. |
