摘要 PURPOSE:To stabilize electrical, optical and photoconductive characteristics by incorporating a material to control conductivity into a photoreceptive layer formed by laminating the 1st layer having photoconductivity and the 2nd layer constituted of an amorphous material in the distribution state uniform with the entire layer region of the 1st layer or part of the layer region. CONSTITUTION:This photoreceptive member consists of a base 101 and the photoreceptive layer formed by laminating the 1st layer 102 which is constituted of the amorphous material consisting basically of silicon atoms and has the photoconductivity and the 2nd layer 103 which is constituted of the amorphous material consisting basically of the silicon atoms and contg. carbon atoms and the material to control the conductivity on the base. The photoreceptive layer contains the material to control the conductivity in the distribution state uniform with the entire layer region of the 1st layer or part of said layer region, contains the oxygen atoms in the distribution state nonuniform with the entire layer region of the 1st layer or part of said layer region and contains further the oxygen atoms in the distribution state uniform with the 2nd layer according to need.
