PURPOSE:To enable accurate positional control without the erroneous operation of a resolver, by dividing the one rotation range of a rotor into a plurality of regions and calculating the displacement quantity of an angle-of-rotation position by a judge signal when said position passes between first and final regions at every cycle. CONSTITUTION:A binarization circuit 1 inputs the signal Pf from a resolver and a positional deviation operating circuit 12 takes in the binarization data from the circuit 11 at a sampling cycle to output the positional deviation pulse DELTAP having the pulse number proportional to the deviation of the lately binarization data with the previous one. A deviation counter 13 performs not only the addition input of the pulse member proportional to position change quantity as a position set value Ps but also the subtraction input of the pulse DELTAP to perform the data output of the calculation value of the difference thereof. A D/A converter 14 outputs the speed order Ns corresponding to said output. The circuit 12 divide a digital value D into four regions in order to obtain said value from the circuit 11 and obtains a region judge code (m) from two upper rank bits. The code (m) is used as a judge signal for judging whether the angle-of-rotation position of a motor passed a change-over point by a selection circuit 15 and the change quantity of the angle-of-rotation position at every sampling cycle is calculated.
