PURPOSE:To make the interval of discs narrow and to mount lots of discs by welding directly a couple of support spring plate members having a head core at the tip to a head arm. CONSTITUTION:The head arm 20 is a plate member of T-shape having a prescribed thickness and support spring members 22, 23 are fixed to both upper and lower faces of the wing 21. Head cores 24, 25 are fixed to each tip of the support plate members 22, 23. The head arm 20 is fixed to the support spring plate members 22, 23 by using holes 21a, 21b provided both ends of the wing 21 of the head arm 20 as alignment holes and welding directly the members 22, 23 to the head arm 20. Center lines 24b, 25b of the head cores at a right angle in the slider direction are deviated together and it is required for the pitch P of the center lines that the relation of P>Lc exists always, where Lc is the size of the head cores 24, 25 in the slider direction.
