PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution of a support supporting a light collecting means and a photodetector by using the support so as to support the light collecting means and the photodetector detecting the light collected by the ligth collecting means. CONSTITUTION:The photodetector 38 is supported directly in the inside of the closed end of the hollow cylindrical support 37 whose one end is opened and whose other end is closed. Further, a condenser lens 36 is fixed to the outside of the open end of the member 37 by bonding. Since the support structure above is provided, the number of adjustments for adjustment with respect to the optical axis in mounting the condenser lens 36 and the photodetector 38 to the support 37 is decreased so as to facilitate the adjustment. For example, in the adjustment with respect to the optical aixs, after the photodetector 38 is fitted to the support 37, the condenser lens 36 is fixed bonding to the support 37 so as not to cause mis-alignment of the optical axis. Further, the shape of the support 37 is manufactured with high accuracy by using diecast. |
