PURPOSE:To simplify management of resources by controlling a procedure processing means by an input device or an output device, in a compression processing system. CONSTITUTION:When a terminal equipment 1i executes an access to a regis tering/deleting procedure processing program, the data of a program manage ment directory 5 is read out and sent out, and the contents of a resource table are displayed. In case of registering additionally prescribed resources to the table, when a cursor is aligned with a prescribed position and a registering function key is inputted, a registering/deleting procedure means starts an infor mation compression processing means 3, stores the corresponding resource information in magnetic disk storage devices 16a-16m, and also outputs a notice of a storage completion to a procedure means 2. As a result, a resource directory managing means 4 is started and title information and a management data are sent out to the managing means 4 together with registering command information compressed and stored in the program management directory 5. In case of deleting the resources, the cursor is aligned and a deleting function key is inputted.
