PURPOSE:To adjust the pellets having a variety of size by installing a hook which collides with the pellets supplied into a pellet feeding part and feed-shifts the pellet to a pellet holding part in the state where the posture of the pellet is corrected. CONSTITUTION:A pellet adjusting apparatus 30 is equipped with a pellet adjusting hook 36 as the feeding hook which can shift in advance and retreat in the direction of plane X and shift in reciprocation between a pellet feeding part 34 and a pellet holding part 35. In order words, the pallet adjusting hook 36 can be shifted in advance and retreat in the direction of arrow B for the pellet 32 supplied into the pellet feeding part 34 and collides with the pellet 32, and shifts the pellet 32 to the pellet holding part 35. In the recessed part 37 at the top edge of the adjusting hook 36, the inside angle theta2 is set to 90 deg. corresponding to the square corner part of the pellet 32, and the recessed part 37 can be attached with the corner part of the pellet 32 by the feed transfer of the pellet adjusting hook 36.
