PURPOSE:To lower the using efficiency of a system bus by holding previously a log data within a channel where a trouble is produced and informing the log data to a channel controller in another report action mode. CONSTITUTION:The channels 5-0, 5-1... are all controlled through a channel controller 4. Thus the controller 4 performs the reception of a start indication from a central processing unit 1, the analysis off the start indication, the starting actions to the channels 5-0... based on the result of said analysis, the acceptance of the interruption requests from the channels 5-0..., the generation of an interruption request to the unit 1, the collection of the trouble information from the channels 5-0..., the generation of an interruption request to the unit 1, the collection of the trouble information from the channels 5-0..., and the reporting action to a service processor 3, etc. A faulty channel holds the log data for its own use and informs the log data to the controller 4 in an another report action mode.
