PURPOSE:To record and preserve data befor correction and the specific data that underwent the correction by writing the corrected data input on a print form printed out for execution of a correcting operation. CONSTITUTION:A main control part 4 deletes the corresponding data so that an operator understands that the data on the corresponding address is deleted and then changes the deleted data into the blinking pictures to display them on a display device 1 for minitoring. Then two horizontal lines are written on a form and a correction character 600 is written on these horizontal lines. An on-line handwritten character recognizing part reads the character 600 and sends it to the part 4 after recognition. The part 4 corrects the data on the corresponding address and displays it on the device 1 for monitoring. Here the corresponding data is displayed continuously with blinking. The operator confirms the pictures on the monitor display and pushes a confirmation key on a keyboard 6 as long as no problem is detected. Then the part 4 stores the corrected data in a file device 5 to complete its operation.
