PURPOSE:To enable ceramics microglobes to be produced easily even with using a material which does not form a sol by dispersing the suspension composed of ceramics fine powder and water in small drop-wise into a specified high-boiling point liquid, by drying and calcining the resultant globular particles. CONSTITUTION:Seramics fine particles are dispersed into water to prepare the suspension. On this occasion, a small amount of surfactant may be added to prevent the second flocculation after dropping the suspension, or an organic binder may be added to maintain the shape at the time of calcination. This suspension is then dropped into the high-boiling point liquid (example; ethyl phthalate, n-butyl phthalate, etc.) whose specific gravity is approximately the same as that of said suspension and which does not mix with water and does not react with the ceramica fine powder in order to form the globular particles. And, these globular particles are heated at 70-80 deg.C to evaporate the moisture and further calcined at 1,000-1,300 deg.C under an ordinary pressure, thus ceramics microglobes are obtained. |
