The invention relates to an apparatus for removing fibrous residues/foams/cork materials/adhesives attached to floors, by combined chemical and mechanical action. The invention consists of a hand tool using a flexible blade which is made of hardened steel 1 and welded to a hollow steel shaft 2 ending in a rotating handle 3 enabling a tap 4 to be actuated which is opened or closed by turning through 90 DEG . The tap is connected, on one side, to a solvent reservoir 5, and on the other to a rail 6 pierced with multiple small holes, which rail is located behind the blade and spreads solvents by gravity at ground level parallel to the blade. The apparatus held by the handle 3 is pushed and pulled in a to-and-fro motion in order to knead the residues impregnated with spread solvents by pulling the apparatus, and to remove them by means of the blade by pushing the apparatus. The metal parts are made of stainless steel. A rotary/mechanical variant is also provided. <IMAGE>
