PURPOSE:To reduce polarization resistance on the interface to decrease internal resistance of a battery by forming at least one electrode of two electrodes with the mixture of active material and solid electrolyte and increasing contact area between them. CONSTITUTION:An active material 3 comprising tungsten oxide and a solid electrolyte comprising a mixture of Li3PO4 and Li4SiO4 is mutually stacked on a substrate 1 through a positive lead 2. A solid electrolyte 4', a negative electrode 5 comprising tungsten oxide, a negative lead 6, and a solid electrolyte film 7 are sequentially arranged. The whole assembly is immersed in tetrahydrofuran containing LiClO4 to intercalate Li into tungsten oxide of the negative electrode 5, then covered with epoxy resin 8 to form a thin film solid electrolyte battery. Thereby, polarization resistance on the interface is reduced to decrease internal resistance and to increase discharge current density. |
