The device transports objects carried by cradles mounted pivotably at their upper end on a movable carriage 6 above treatment vessels. Each of the said cradles is suspended, in cantilever fashion, from the said carriage 6 by means of a lateral rising arm 21. The carriage 6 bears, via rollers 30, 31, on rolling tracks 320, 330, both externally following the said path and one 330 being arranged closer to the cradle below the carriage and the other 320, in a position which is further away from the cradle, above the carriage. It also comprises rollers for guiding on opposing lateral bearing support surfaces 331. <IMAGE>
