<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a heat-resistant endless belt in which the layer thickness of an adhesive layer at a joining part is uniformized to prevent partial insufficiency of adhesive power of the heat resistant endless belt and prevent level difference and wrinkles from occurring at the joining part, and further, in which extrusion amount of an adhesive is controlled and also a void part is prevented from being formed, so as to prevent defects in a fixed image, even when the endless belt is worked as a fixing belt or an intermediate transfer belt, and is used in an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The heat resistant endless belt is constituted, by sticking a first inclined thin part which is provided on one surface at one end of a heat resistant resin sheet and where the thickness of the heat resistant resin sheet becomes thinner and thinner toward the end, and a second inclined thin part which is provided on the surface different from the one surface at the other end thereof, and where the thickness of the heat resistant resin sheet becomes thinner and thinner toward the end through the adhesive layer. In the heat resistant endless belt, spacer material for keeping the thickness of the adhesive layer constant is disposed in the adhesive layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
