PURPOSE:To obtain an adaptor to be connected to a GII or GIII machines by providing a data storage section that temporarily stores facsimile data based on a command from the GII data transmission/reception control section and the GIII data transmission/reception control section. CONSTITUTION:To connect own GII machine to an opposite GIII machine at first a signal output from the GII machine is input to a modem 12 of the GII via a terminal 13 and an adaptor changeover section 7. Data demodulated by the GII modem 12 is sent to a code converting section 10, where band compression is applied to the demodulated data band by the MH or MR system and sequentially accumulated in data memory 9. Next, the operator of the GII machine uses telephone 4 to make a dial call to the opposite and pushes the sending button. In such a way, a line 3 is connected to the GIII modem 6 in NCU1, afterwards, a GIII data transmission control section 8 starts correspondence with the opposite facsimile equipment via the GIII modem 6 in accordance with a predetermined control procedure, and the data stored in data memory section 9 is sent. |
