PURPOSE:To ensure that the speed of a line-feeding motor capable of taking a plurality of load modes is controlled optimally in each of the modes, by a method wherein when driving a lien-feeding motor capable of taking plurality of load modes, the motor is so driven as to follow speed characteristics varied depending on the load. CONSTITUTION:A modulation data storage part (consisting of a ROM) 100 is provided which stores modulation data corresponding to each period of phase- switching signals on a load mode basis. Modulation data for a mode in which a cut sheet feeder is mounted, modulation data for a mode in which a continuous form is used, and modulation data for a mode in which a cutform is used are separately stored in the first modulation data storage part 101, the second modulation data storage part 102 and the third modulation data storage part 103, respectively. Among the modulation data outputted from the storage parts 101, 103, the modulation data corresponding to each load mode are selected based on a selection signal (a) by a data selector 120. The selection signal is generated by a microswitch 31 operated in conjunction with a converting lever 30 and other predetermined microswitches operated where the cut sheet feeder is mounted. |
