PURPOSE:To smooth the fit between a roll and the inner ring of a roll bearing and to prevent the creep in a contact part by supplying a lubricating oil between the roll and the inner ring of the roll bearing. CONSTITUTION:An oil feed hole is provided from the side face B of a bearing box 2 toward the inside of the box 2 and further the oil feed hole is provided to a keep plate 5 as well so that the lubricating oil fed from the side face B is advanced in an arrow direction and is passed between an oil seal 7 and oil seal 10 bolted 8 to the plate 5. The lubricating oil passes through a groove C provided to the inner ring of the sealed bearing 3 and flows toward the circumferential surface of the roll 1 from which the oil is conducted to the contact surface A between the roll 1 and the inside ring of the bearing 3. An oil groove 3 is provided to the inside ring of the bearing 3 to permit the easy flow of the lubricating oil in the axial length direction of the roll 1. The lubrication between the roll 1 and the inside ring of the bearing 3 from the outside of the box 2 is thus improved by such constitution. |
