The invention relates to a beer tapping unit (1) which is made of plastic, essentially comprises the actual tapping unit with tapping nozzle (2), tap casing (3), tap (18) and central casing (6) and is complemented by standing feet and a tin can opener. The central casing (6) extends from the tapping nozzle (2) to the tap casing (3) in the form of a conical extension. The tap (18) has ribs (30) which are moulded to its outlet aperture so as to point radially inwards and stop bosses (36) which are arranged on both sides of the lever (19) and which run up against stop surfaces (34) of the tap casing (3) when the tap (18) is turned. The tapping nozzle (2) has an upper collar (9), which is wedge-shaped, on its inlet side and, furthermore, two diametrical catch noses (11) below the collar (9). <IMAGE>
