A description is given of a hollow profile for the frame of shuttering panels, which has a substantially rectangular main body, which contains on one side two parallel angular or triangular depressions for the engagement of the claws of clamping or aligning tools, optionally to be fitted. The contact face of the one depression runs at a different angle to the respective side of the rectangular main body than the contact face of the other depression, so that relatively high forces can be transferred via the one depression in the clamping direction and relatively high forces can be transferred via the other depression in the aligning direction.
