PURPOSE:To prevent generation of noise due to turbulence of air flow in an indoor sadiator having a heat exchanger located downstream of a fan by a constraction wherein the air resistance within air passages formed between fins of the heat exchanger can be varied to gradually change the discharge direction of air flow. CONSTITUTION:The titled indoor radiator is arranged such that air in drawn by a fan 25 mounted therein from an air intake port 29 into an outer casing 21, changed by a heat exchanger 28 into warm air and then flow through an outlet chamber 30 into the room. The heat exchanger 28 is constructed such that the length of fins 27 extending from upstrem side to dounstream side increase gradually from the front face to the rear surface and a plurality of the fins 27 are laminated in parallel relationship with one another to form air passages 31 between them and provide an inclined surface 32 on the lower part of the front surface thereof, said inclined surface 32 being directed towards the outlet chamber 30. By this arrangement, gradual changes in the air resistance in the passages 31 produced when air passes through the latter vary the air flow direction graually thus preventing generation of turbulence in the air flow. |
