Annular-core transformer having magnetic screening, and a method for its production

For magnetic screening of an annular-core transformer, a strip consisting of an amorphous soft-magnetic alloy material is wound round the ring, to be precise in such a manner that the strip loops cross over the hole in the ring, cross at the centre of the ring and overlap at the outer surface of the ring. A commercially available ring winding machine is used for production.
