PURPOSE:To mold precisely the plastic lens with a specified thickness under winding a tape accurately onto the outer peripheries of molds by providing centering rollers for positioning the centers of the molds to the axes core of rotary shafts, while pushing a pair of molds for molding a plastic lens from the peripheries of the molds. CONSTITUTION:A convex mold 41 and a concave mold 42 are fitted to the step parts 40a, 40b for receiving the molds and temporally assembled. The centers 41a, 42a of the molds 41, 42 are precisely positioned to the axis cores 8a, 11a of rotation axes 8, 11 by centering rollers 32a, 32b. When the molds 41, 42 are vacuum-sucked by suction pads 9, 12, then the positions of the molds are not shifted. Said molds are vacuum sucked without changing the distance between the molding surfaces of the molds, and a tape 33 is wound around the outer peripheries of the molds, thereby molding precisely the plastic lens with specified thickness. |
