PURPOSE:To improve drivability of an engine and its fuel consumption, by controlling an ignition timing position to almost a fixed position in an operative region in a low speed side while the ignition timing position in accordance with an engine speed and intake pressure in an operative region neighboring to the before said region. CONSTITUTION:This timing control circuit has a timing generating circuit 20 which inputs a fixed signal FS of almost fixed value from a fixed signal circuit 10, representing intake pressure in the first region positioned in a low speed side in the all speed range of an engine, and a speed signal Ss from a speed detector 2. And the circuit generates an almost fixed timing value on the basis of the fixed signal FS in the first region while a timing value in accordance with an intake pressure signal PS and the speed signal SS in the second region neighboring to the first region. The timing generating circuit 20 inputs these fixed signal FS and intake pressure signal PS through a switching circuit 30 switched in accordance with an operative region, and when the signal is switched, the input signal to the circuit 20 is continuously changed by a time constant circuit 40 in an aged manner.
