PURPOSE:To reduce considerably the number of memories or the like and to simplify an electric system by forming each tape so that visible information can be displayed on the front face of the tape and information can be stored on the rear face as a magnetic surface. CONSTITUTION:A tape 3 has a width W slightly shorter than the length of rolls 1 and 2 and consists of the first layer 11 including a front face (f) where characters, symbols, etc. can be written and printed and the second layer 12 including a magnetic face F where information can be stored magnetically. With respect to each pair of rolls 1 and 2, the tape 3 is wound around the first roll 1 from one end so that the magnetic face F is inside and the tape 3 is wound around the second roll 2 from the other end so that the writable face (f) is inside. Thus, the writable face (f) is exposed outside around the first roll 1, and the magnetic face F is exposed outside around the second roll 2.
