<p>The invention relates to a process for the recovery of the constituents of a mixture of paint residues and solvents therefor originating from the cleaning of painting and/or paint-manufacturing equipment. In the process of the invention, the mixture is treated with a substance which is a non-solvent for the mixture. The constituents obtained, mainly resin, pigments and other solids, are separated from the light, clarified phase before distillation. The process of the invention allows the recovery of all constituents of the mixture.</p> |
