PURPOSE:To improve the working process by processing a sintered substance block and dividing it into two parts. CONSTITUTION:The long side parts 24 and 25 of a sintered substance block 20 are cut to obtain a material block 30 having an H-shaped projected part formed on the main surface at one side. Then an end part 28 at the short side of the block 30 serves as a rubbing part 5 of a slider. Then T-shaped projected parts 26 and 27 are provided adverse to each other via a shallow groove 23 to serve as a contact face, i.e., a contact small face against an assembled core and a support part 8 respectively. Then two pieces of bulk type slider 1 where the groove 23 serves as an adhesive stay part 9 are connected adverse to each other at the part 9. While the block 30 is divided into two part at the center of the groove 23 and in parallel with the end face of the part 28. Then each material is finished in a desired form and size. In such a way, two sliders 1 for magnetic head can be obtained from a single block. |
