PURPOSE:To enable to take in and out plural items to and from a storehouse in an up-and-down movement and improve efficiency of taking in and out efficiency, by furnishing a buffer member connected to the entrance, to store plural items for taking in and out easily, at the elevator platform of a gateway of a rotary storehouse. CONSTITUTION:The elevator platform 24 of an exit device 4 can stop, on the way to go down, at the opposing position to a desired shelf 14 to receive containers A one by one, which are pushed out by a pusher 38 from trays 21 in a rotary storehouse 2. When containers A are loaded on the entrance of the elevator platform 24, a motor drives rollers to deliver the containers A to a buffer member, where the containers are piled up to three packages. Then the platform 24 goes down to the carrying route 5, and throws the containers by the rollers at a time. On the other hand, containers A are loaded by a unit of three packages on the elevator platform 24 waiting at the bottom of the intake device, then they are stopped at a desirable shelf, and transferred to the trays 21 one by one. Therefore, the taking in and taking out are speeded up.
