PURPOSE:To improve printing durability and the sharpness of an image by incorporating a plasticizer into a silicone oil. CONSTITUTION:The plasticizer is incorporated into the silicone oil in a fixing method consisting in heat-fixing the toner image transferred onto a transfer type lithographic printing original plate by a silicone resin or fluororesin roller coated with the silicone oil. The plasticizer is exemplified by phosphate ester such as tributyl phosphate or triphenyl phosphate and adipate ester, etc. The content is usually 1-20wt% by the weight of the silicon oil. The silicone oil which is usually used in this field and is of low viscosity is satisfactory. The printing durability of the printing plate and the sharpness of the printing image are thus remarkably improved and the fixability is improved. |
