<p>PURPOSE:To prevent wrinkles of copy paper at a paper feed roller portion when a copying machine is stopped by providing a paper feed roller holding mechanism for holding paper feed rollers in such a manner as to move in the direction of separating from each other. CONSTITUTION:According to a signal from a control device C, a driving device D of a paper feed roller R2 is stopped. After that, on completion of copying operation, application of power to a solenoid 26 is switched off, and a lever 28 is turned counter-clockwise centering round a shaft 29 so that a cam member 20 is turned to push down a cam contact part 4b of a lever 4. When clutch drums 30 (30a, 30b) are turned, a projection 30a is brought into contact with an engaging portion 28a of the lever 28 to again stop the drums 30, so that the cam member 20 is stopped. The cam member 20 is stopped with a large diameter portion thereof brought into contact with the cam contact part 4b, so that the lever 4 is turned counterclockwise, and a roller lift-up part 4a is raised to lift up a shaft 2 of a paper feed roller R1. Thus, the paper feed rollers R1, R2 are separated from each other.</p> |
