PURPOSE:To detect exactly water by constituting the titled device so that the grain is supplied by one grain each to a water detector, by a switching device operated by the detecting signal of a grain detector, with regard to the grain flowing through a flow-down path. CONSTITUTION:A grain which has flowed down to a supply cylinder from the elevator of a grain drying machine is supplied to a one grain fetching device 5, and supplied by one grain each to a flow-down path 7 by a one grain fetching roll 6. Subsequently, as for the grain flowing through the flow-down path 7, the linked state of the grain is detected by a light emitting element 11 and a photodetector 12 of a grain detector 10, and the result of the detection is sent to a control box 14. When the grain is flowing separately by one grain each, a changeover valve 16 is in an open state, the grain is supplied to an electrode roll 9 of a water detector 8, water is detected 8 with regard to one grain each, and a data is sent to the box 14. On the other hand, when plural grains are flowing in a row, they are detected 10, a driving circuit 15 is operated by the command from the box 14, the valve 16 switches a grain drop path 13 to closed side by a solenoid valve 17, plural grains are not supplied simultaneously to the detector 8, and water is detected with regard to one grain each.
