The invention relates to a process for producing a solid connection between oblong elements. According to the invention, after having previously joined together, end to end, the end areas of the elastic oblong element 1 and the non-elastic oblong element 2, an overmoulding 4 is carried out on these two end areas by using a plastic and by taking care that the overmoulding temperature does not cause deterioration of the mechanical properties of the oblong elements 1, 2 in the region of their connection area. The invention also relates to the products incorporating the overmoulding structure obtained by the process of the invention, for example a rear parcel-shelf cord for motor vehicles. <IMAGE> |
