PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of an operating mechanism and to make easy an assembling process by making a predetermined slit of an operating thumb coincide with a slit of a cabinet and inserting a leaf spring and a pole. CONSTITUTION:When an operating thumb 12 is slided and operated, a pole 14 is disengaged from a slit 12a of the thumb 12 and making a leaf spring 13 flexible, a click on beginning to operate by the thumb 12 is obtained. Then, when the thumb 12 completely slides a stroke determined by slits 12a, 12b disposed on the external form of a standing wall of the thumb 12, the pole 14 is fitted into the slit 12b and the flection of the spring 13 is returned to an original, thereby a click on the completion of an operation of the thumb 12 is obtained. Thus, the spring 13 is fixed by ribs 11a, 11b of a cabinet 11, protruding sections 12c, 12d are disposed on the slits 12a, 12b and one end of the slit to rotatably hold the pole 14 and simplify a formation of a pressing plate 15.
