摘要 The invention relates to an appliance for measuring the granulometric characteristics particle size and particle shape of individual particles (grains, drops, bubbles) which are dispersed in a liquid or in a gas stream, according to the principle of the measurement of relative extinction. The object of the invention is to extend the effective range. The object is achieved according to the invention by arranging, in an appliance having a flow measuring cell whose cross-section is not substantially larger than the largest particle to be measured, and in a device for generating a parallel light beam and a photodiode on the inlet side of the beam into the flow measuring cell, a slit diaphragm and a diaphragm limiting the length of the slit, and by arranging, downstream of the measuring cell, a device for measuring the maximum light attenuation by individual particles. <IMAGE>
