PURPOSE:To obtain a small size stroke limiter by fixing a threaded shaft rod between the frame boards then fixing a stopper free of positional adjusting to said rod thereafter coupling a member contactable against the stopper to a sliding rod coupled with the piston rod. CONSTITUTION:Hydraulic cylinder 2 and a threaded shaft rod 3 are fixed between the frame boards 2 while a stopper 4 is fixed through a nut 5 onto said rod 3 free of positional adjusting. A guide rod 15 is provided independently between the frame boards 2 and fitted with a stopper member 14 fixed to a sliding rod 16 coupled with a movable body 18. Since the threaded shaft rod 3 and the hydraulic cylinder 1 are arranged in parallel, the stoppers 4 are juxtaposed in a row and never project partially even when many stoppers are provided resulting in reduction of size.
