PURPOSE:To improve operation performance and fuel economic efficiency by switching the mixed gas to a lean air-fuel ratio when an engine obtains the revolution speed over a set value through the acceleration from idling and carrying out the operation by the mixed gas having a lean air-fuel ratio in deceleration by to idling. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 16 controls a control valve 15 installed into an increased-fuel passage 14 so that the mixed gas having a theoretical air-fuel ratio is supplied in idling, and the mixed gas a little denser than the theoretical air-fuel ratio is supplied when the engine is cold. When a throttle valve 17 is opened, and the engine revolution speed increases, and it is judged from the output of a revolution speed sensor 20 that the revolution speed is over a certain value, feedback control on the basis of the output of an O2 sensor 22 is released, and the control valve 15 is held in closed state. The LPG in the fundamental fuel quantity metered by a jet 3 is sent into a mixer 5, and the mixed gas having a lean air-fuel ratio is supplied into an engine 11. In the succeeding deceleration, the operation by the mixed gas having the lean air-fuel ratio is carried out up to idling.
