PURPOSE:To prevent the decrease of the concn. of a developing soln. and the decrease of image density by attaching a valve to close a metering chamber provided to a developing soln. tank during development to said metering chamber so that the specified amt. of the developing soln. is discharged at every one developing operation. CONSTITUTION:The developing soln. under use for the development falls partly into the metering chamber 5 of the developing soln. chamber 3 along the outside surface of a developing soln. scraping member 4. The valve 6 is held closed during this time and the falling developing soln. is filled up to the upper level position of a partition wall 17 between the tank 3 and the chamber 5. The liquid of the volume exceeding said position overflows from the wall 17 into the tank 3. The developing soln. flowing into the tank is mixed with the fresh developing soln. from a supply flow path 7 and does not decrease the concn. of the developing soln. in the next developing operation stage. On the other hand, a projecting part (a) of a valve fixing plate 20 slides the side face of a valve control plate 22 of a base plate when the tank 3 moves upon ending of the development. The valve 6 is thereby opened and the stagnating developing soln. in the chamber 5 is discharged to the outside. |
