PURPOSE:To improve the response characteristic of an engine by installing an intake chamber on the upstream side of an intake pipe in straight-line form which is connected to the suction side of a throttle valve and installing an air cleaner on the upstream side. CONSTITUTION:As for an intake chamber 11, the air part is directly set to the upstream-side opened port of an intake pipe 9, and said intake pipe 9 is formed into nearly straight-line form, free from a large bent part. Though, when an engine 5 is operated, intake flows in the intermittent flow form in the intake pipes 9 and 10 in each intake cycle, the succeeding intake is temporarily stored, since the inside of the intake chamber 11 immediately after the completion of intake cycle forms a negative pressure state. The stored intake is attracted immediately into a carburetor 6 preceding the intake supplied from an air cleaner 7, in the next intake cycle, and supplied into the engine 5. |
