PURPOSE:To prevent engine stall by correcting the fuel injection quantity to reduction and preventing the excessive concentration of the mixed gas by the operation of a fuel increase logic on start, when the engine revolution speed reduces when a car starts. CONSTITUTION:On engine start, a fuel injection quantity calculating means E calculates the fuel injection quantity suitable for start, and at the time of perfect combustion when the engine revolution speed NE detected by a revolution-speed detecting means D exceeds a prescribed revolution speed, a calculating means E calculates the fundamental injection quantity corresponding to the fuel injection time where the air-fuel ratio is set at a theoretical air-fuel ratio. Said fundamental injection quantity is corrected according to a variety of operation parameters and set as the final injection quantity. If the engine revolution speed temporarily reduces below about 300rpm when a clutch is connected on start, the final injection quantity is reduction-corrected by a fuel injection quantity correcting means G according to the output of a revolution speed reduction detecting means F, and an injector C is controlled according to the injection quantity after correction.
