PURPOSE:To improve operation performance throughout a while operation range through a small device, according to the method wherein a supercharger is formed with a hydraulic driving body, driven by means of high pressure oil from a lubricating pump driven by an engine, and a compressor coupled directly to an output shaft. CONSTITUTION:A supercharger B is constituted such that a hydraulic motor M serving as a hydraulic driving body is driven by means of high pressure oil produced with the aid of a lubricating pump P driven by an internal-combustion engine 1, and a compressor A1 can be driven by means of the power. Air compressed by the compressor A1 is supercharged to the internal-combustion engine through a passage 3 by means of an intake manifold. Lubricating oil after driving of the hydraulic motor M thereby is intruded in a cylinder block E of the internal-combustion engine 1 after flowing through a passage P3, and after lubricating each part, the lubricating oil is returned to a lubricating oil reservoir H.
