PURPOSE:To obtain the title atomizer improved in thermal shock resistance, by covering the inner surface of the spray orifice of the atomizer for injecting a liquid and solid fuel mixture and steam with ceramics members divided into at lest two sections. CONSTITUTION:In a liquid and solid fuel mixture spray type atomizer, a spray orifice containing a spray mixing chamber being the confluence region of a fuel mixture passage and a steam passage is covered with ceramic nozzle chips divided into at least two sections to form a so called lining structure. By this structure, heat stress generated in ceramics is brought to the tensile strength of ceramics or less to prevent cracking. This is, when ceramics (e.g., SiC, Si3N4) is divided into two or four sections as shown by a drawing, the generation of cracking can be suppressed as compared with an integral type. In the case of the division into two sections, vertical division has higher cracking preventing effect as compared with transverse division and said effect is markedly enhanced by vertical division into four sections. |
