PURPOSE:To lower sensitivity with respect to the mode of oscillation having inherent frequency over specific frequency by arranging strain gages on a section longer than the wavelength of the mode of oscillation to lower the sensitivity. CONSTITUTION:The strain gages 8 and 9 are continuously arranged on the section longer than the wavelength of the mode of oscillation to lower the sensitivity. Then,the measured quantity of the bending of each mode is made as indicated with the slanted lines in figure. The detected quantity of the part indicated with the lines slanting downward toward the right is negated in each mode. Because of this, each mode component of the measured quantity of the bending is made to only a part indicated with the lines slanting upward toward the left. The modes more than the 3rd and the 4th modes have many parts to be negated and accordingly, the detection sensitivity of the bending of the modes more than the 3rd mode is lowered.
