PURPOSE:To attain decomposition/composition to a transmission frame of a different form by providing a transmission/reception frame count range setting circuit set by a program a bit count range setting circuit, a frame composition control register and a frame decomposition control register. CONSTITUTION:The transmission/reception frame count range setting circuit 3 setting the range counted by a transmission frame counter circuit 1 and a reception frame counter circuit 11 by a program and a transmission/reception bit counter range setting circuit 4 setting the range counted by a transmission bit counter circuit 2 and a reception bit counter circuit 12 by a program are provided. A transmission control circuit 6 selects a sending data by using a value of the frame composition control register and an output value of the transmission frame counter circuit 1 and the transmission bit counter circuit 2. The reception control circuit 16 distributes the reception clock by a value of the frame composition control register and the output value of the reception frame counter circuit 11 and the reception bit counter circuit 12.
