摘要 |
PURPOSE:To weld with shallow depth of the welding zone on the whole, with narrow thermal influence zone and without welding defects by heating the center part of the plate thickness by an energy beam and by heating simultaneously by high frequency current the both end parts of the plate thickness which can not be covered by the energy beam. CONSTITUTION:The edge part 2 of a tubular body 1 is uniformly heated to the welding temp. over the whole metal range by the laser beam LB irradiated through a beam guide 29 from a laser irradiating device 4 and the Joule heat generated by the high frequency power fed from a probe 7. Therefore the heating temp. distribution is uniform in the thickness direction, the spreading of the thermal influencing part is minimum and the welding with high stiffness and without welding defects is performed. |
