PURPOSE:To prevent an optical thin film from being deteriorated under an irradiation of a high energy laser beam by containing optical parts which have formed on the surface an optical thin film whose constituting material is one of As2Se3 or KCl, in an airtight structure container together with a desiccating agent. CONSTITUTION:An infrared fiber 1 is contained in a metallic pipe-shaped container 2, and one end is held by a collet chuck 3. Both end parts 2A, 2B of the pipe-shaped container are formed so that the diameter is larger than the middle part, can contain the collet chuck 3 and a lens, etc., has a space for containing a desiccating agent 4 in the container end part 2A, and the desiccating agent 4 is held by a porous segregating material 5. The container end part 2A of the incident side is formed by an airtight window structure by using an infrared window 6, etc. of ZnSe, etc. According to such a structure, the infrared fiber 1 being optical parts can always be maintained in a low humidity atmosphere. In this way, the optical parts having an optical thin film can be used extending over a long period of time without being deteriorated. |
