摘要 PURPOSE:To decide on the positioning state of the 2nd focus part and to mea sure a multifocal lens accurately by comparing the degrees of sphericity and the degrees of cylindricality of the 1st and the 2nd focus parts with each other. CONSTITUTION:When a bifocal lens is positioned, a microcomputer (MC) 7 instructs a data storage and short-distance part positioning through a data storage specifying member 10 and a short-distance part positioning start specifying member 11. When the data storage is specified, the MC 7 stores the degree S0 of sphericity and the degree C0 of astigmatism in a storage device 12. When the start of positioning is specified by the member 11, the degree S1 of sphericity and the degree C1 of astigmatism which are measured subsequently are compared with the degree S0 of sphericity and the degree C0 of astigmatism stored in the device 12. It is decided whether S1=S0 and when S1not equal to S0, it is decided whether C1=C0. Further, when S1=S0 or when C0not equal to C1, a defect in positioning is displayed on a display device 8 and when S1not equal to S0 and C0not equal to C1, normal positioning is displayed.
