PURPOSE:To measure the quantity of crosstalk of an image guide accurately by making light incident on only a half part of the picture element fiber of the image guide to be measured at one end side and shielding the half part of the picture element fiber on which the light is incident at the other end side. CONSTITUTION:A shield plate material 5 is moved up and down by the adjust ment of a jogging base 6 to align the position of a slit 5a with the convergence position of projection light, which is entered into a power meter 7 while leak light is cut off. Thus, the quantity of the projection light is measured. Then, the plate material 5 is moved down by the adjustment of the jogging base 6 to align the position of the slit 5a with the convergence position of the leak light, so that only the leak light is enetered into the power meter 7. Thus, the quantity of the leak light is measured. Further, the quantity of leak light to the quantity of incident light is also known. Thus, leak current projected from the half part 1a of the picture element fiber on which the light is not incident through the slit 5a is all measured, and consequently the quantity of leak light is measured with large measurement area, so that the measurement precision is improved greatly. |
