PURPOSE:To eliminate the deterioration of the processing capacity accompanied with address conversion by indexing a buffer storage address with a part of data read out from a main storage. CONSTITUTION:An operation processor 1 holds a part of required data, and the remainder part is read out form a buffer storage device 2 or a main storage device 3. When receiving a part of data from the processor 1, the device 2 loads it to the upper part of a register 4 by a selecting circuit 8. A directory 5 is indexed by a part of loaded data, and the remainder part of data and the output of the directory 5 are compared with each other by a comparing circuit 7. If this comparison results in coincidence, the same data as data indexed from the directory 5 is designated and is transferred from a data memory 6 to the processor 1. If said comparison results in disaccord, data is read out from the device 3. Thus, the deterioration of the processing capacity accompanied with address conversion is eliminated.
