PURPOSE:To enable easy formation of light absorber pattern by coating the inner surface of a panel with a light absorbing agent by mean of a roll coater. CONSTITUTION:A PVA photosensitive film 2 is formed on the inner surface of a plain panel 1 by coating it with PVA photosensitive paste by screen printing technique. After leveling and drying, the photosensitive film 2 is exposed to ultraviolet light through a specified optical mask 3. After the exposure, developing processes including washing in water are applied to form PVA stripes 4 at the positions corresponding to the respective colors. Then the entire inner surface of the panel including the PVA stripes 4 are coated with light absorber carbon paste 15 by means of a roll coater 11 to form a carbon coating 5. Then after drying, the PVA stripes 4 and the carbon coating 5 on the PVA stripes are removed by reversal developing to form carbon stripes 6 of the specified pattern on the inner surface of the panel 1. Easy pattern formation is made possible by this procedure which enables light absorbing agent to be applied with the same effect as that of printing method.
